At Soccer Supplement® we know that winter is the hardest time to train, and with lockdown back in place, this year it is even more difficult. We’ve put together the following tips to help you stay physically and mentally fit from home.

4 TIPS TO KEEP FIT DURING LOCKDOWN

 

At Soccer Supplement® we know that winter is the hardest time to train, and with lockdown back in place, this year it is even more difficult. We’ve put together the following tips to help you stay physically and mentally fit from home.

1. KEEP UP WITH YOUR CARDIO

 

Try and get outside for a run up to three times a week, and mix up the speeds and distances. Throw in the occasional 12km jog to replicate the approximate distance you would cover over 90 minutes on the pitch. Take a Fuel90® with you to give you a boost halfway through, and remember to stay hydrated with some Hydrate90® in your Soccer Supplement® water bottle.

The lockdown has had a massive impact on our mental well-being, but there is plenty you can do to improve your mental health. Keep in contact with friends and family, or set up a video conference with your teammates. Do some breathing exercises, yoga or meditation. Listen to relaxing music, or take a walk in nature.
