HAT-TRICK - Once again we have partnered with Sheffield United for the coming season, our 3rd year with the Blades.

We worked with United during their first season back in the Championship as they finished 10th, then supported them as they were promoted to The Premier League, following their second placed finish. The Blades first season back in the top division will be a cracker and they’ve been sorely missed since 2007.

“We are delighted to continue this partnership with Soccer Supplement. Their products, service and support throughout the last two seasons has been excellent. We look forward to moving into the Premier League alongside them and building on this already successful relationship,” said Liam Robinson, United's commercial key account manager.

Mark Britton, Soccer Supplement commercial director, said: “We are now into our third year together, after two amazing seasons in the Championship and now promotion, we’re really excited to see how this season unfolds in the Premier League. We’re looking forward to continuing our long partnership with the Blades.”

To kick off the partnership, we are giving away two tickets to the first home game of the season, v Crystal Palace on 18th August. For a chance to win: head over to our twitter page for details @SocSupplement

United fans also have continued access to 25 per cent off all Soccer Supplement products, check out the club website to see how! https://www.sufc.co.uk/

We’re repeatedly experimenting with our training week, and with good reason, consistently going into the weekend feeling under done or over cooked rather than primed for a peak performance. This can often be attributed to the difficulty associated with optimising your training week. Training too hard at the start or the end of your week can disrupt recovery and play havoc with your performances! What we are aiming to achieve with this article is to provide a framework from which you will be able to identify which parts of the training week need to be harder, and maybe more crucially, which parts need to be easier. When initially approaching the training week, we need to break it down into three distinguishable parts – namely; the recoverytraining and tapering blocks of your weekly microcycle (week schedule).
